Who we are
Celestial Commercial Cleaning (“Celestial”, “we”, “us”) is a cleaning company based in Alberta, Canada, serving Calgary, Okotoks and the Foothills. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us when you fill out our quote or contact forms, or when you call or email us. This can include:
- your name and business name
- your email address and phone number
- the address of the property you’d like cleaned
- service details, such as the type of space, approximate size, preferred frequency and start date
- anything you write in your message
We don’t ask for sensitive information such as payment card details through this website. Please don’t include it in a form or message.
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry
- prepare a quote and plan your cleaning
- provide and schedule our services, and stay in touch about them
- keep the business records we’re required to keep
We won’t use your information for anything else without your consent. By submitting a form, you consent to us using your information for these purposes. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us, though we may then be unable to provide a quote or service.
How forms are processed
When you submit a form, it’s processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form service, which delivers it to our business email inbox. Our website is hosted by Netlify. Web3Forms, Netlify and our email provider may store or process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We use these providers only to run our website and communicate with you.
We don’t sell your information
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with the service providers who help us run our business (such as our form service, website host and email provider), or if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to respond and follow up. For clients, we keep contact and service records while we work together and afterwards for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes. When we no longer need information, we delete or securely destroy it.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access. This site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiries is limited to the people at Celestial who need it to serve you. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.
Cookies and third-party services
This website doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and doesn’t store anything in your browser.
Our fonts load from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information. Google Fonts doesn’t set cookies. You can read more in Google’s Privacy Policy. Links to our social media pages take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how it’s been used
- correct information that’s inaccurate or incomplete
- delete your information when we no longer need it, or withdraw your consent
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
